A Setting up an application account for applying online

It is only possible to set up an account for applying to take the Erasmus+ Program and Swiss-European Mobility Exchange
within the following registration time window:

  • March 07 to April 30, 2018

To set up an account, please click the left menu to »Create account«.

After you have submitted your data and clicked the “Create account” button, you will receive an email with access data
for online application. Because it depends upon your email provider, some hours may elapse before you receive the email!

B Filling in and sending off your online application

  • Please be aware that it will only be possible to apply online between March 07 and April 30, 2018.
  • We will only be able to consider your application if it is sent to us on time.
  • You will subsequently receive an automatic confirmation of your online application, sent to the email address
    that you have provided.

C Submission/sending of application portfolio

  • Your online application can only be considered for approval if your home university has submitted
    your nomination before and if you have also submitted a portfolio!
  • Your portfolio should contain photocopies - nor originals, as unsuccessful applications will be destroyed -
    of artistic work completed by yourself during the past 2 years.
    The portfolio should contain about 15 works. Please do not send any 3D works
    (send photoprints or a DVD instead).
  • If you wish to send your portfolio to us by post, please send it to the following address:

  • If you are sending from outside Germany, we strongly recommend that you do not write any amount
    on the "Wert der Sendung" (Value of Consignment“) tariff sticker. This avoids additional costs and formalities.
  • All documents must have been received by the HFBK Hamburg on the 30th April 2018
    at the latest.
  • Documents received or handed in late cannot be considered for approval!

D Our response to your application

  • You will be informed whether your application has been accepted or rejected via your application account.
    For this reason, please protect your access data.

Bachelor Fine Arts

A Setting up an application account for applying online

It is only possible to set up an account for applying to take the Bachelor Fine Arts within the following registration time window:
  • February 01 to March 05, 2018
To set up an account, please click the left menu to »Create account«.

After you have submitted your data and clicked the “Create account” button, you will receive an email with access data
for online application. Because it depends upon your email provider, some hours may elapse before you receive the email!

B Filling in and sending off your online application

  • Please be aware that it will only be possible to apply online between February 01, 2018 and March 05, 2018, 15.00.
  • We will only be able to consider your application if it is sent to us on time.
  • You will subsequently receive an automatic confirmation of your online application, sent to the email address
    that you have provided.

C Submission/sending of application portfolio

  • Your online application can only be considered for approval if you have also submitted a portfolio !!!
  • Application portfolios can be submitted in person on the 2nd, 3rd and 5th March 2018.
  • Acceptance times: from 9.30 to 12.00 and from 13.30 to 15.00.
  • During this period, the relevant rooms will be marked by signs. We wish to warn applicants
    that they should expect to have to wait for a long time, especially on the final day.
  • If you wish to send your portfolio to us by post, please send it to the following address:

You will only be able to create an account for the application "Fine Arts teaching qualification (BA)" during the following registration period:
  • February 01 to March 05, 2018

For users of all email providers, this may take some hours!
